Although rooted in the local community, The Railway is a forward thinking and innovative pub which takes inspiration from hospitality businesses and design trends across the globe. Located in the town of Ringwood, Hampshire, owner Hannah has been running the pub since 2013 and built a loyal following. Her vision and ambition has seen the pub go from strength to strength really harnessing its potential and creating a pub popular with many different target markets throughout the year.
The Railway is a Heritage Victorian Pub located at the outskirts of the New Forest Market Town of Ringwood. We’ve been here since 2013 – and racked up 9 years in the Good Beer Guide and 7 years recommended in the AA Good Pub Guide.
Our speciality is epic burgers, craft and cask beer and friendly welcome. We have a large Beer Garden with heated festival tent. Inside we have two small but cozy rustic bars. Our service stye is friendly and casual. Dogs, Families & Cyclists welcome!
The Railway’s mission is to offer a truly unique pub experience which celebrates all that a pub should be. A home away from home, serving awesome food and drink to enjoy in good company with a personable service.
The company’s vision is to celebrate the culture of the Great British Pub in a modern way. Serving exciting new food and drinks, delivering exceptional customer service, in a comfortable laid back environment.
The food is inspired by street food trucks which make international cuisine accessible and affordable with funky and distinctive branding.
It’s great tasting food, to be eaten with hands rather than knives and forks. The Korean BBQ is inspired by Kogi food trucks in LA, the animal is a nod to the in – n – out off menu classic, Poutine comes from Hannah’s visits to Canada and is inspired by Mile One eating house. The Railway uses a specialist supplier of cheese curds so the Poutine is always authentic. Sauces are made from scratch including the Korean which is the most popular sauce on Korean fries and Korean fried chicken.
