Dirty burgers, cracking beer and drinks & friendly service seven days a week
It’s great tasting food, to be eaten with hands rather than knives and forks. The Korean BBQ is inspired by Kogi food trucks in LA, the animal is a nod to the in – n – out off menu classic, Poutine comes from Hannah’s visits to Canada and is inspired by Mile One eating house. The Railway uses a specialist supplier of cheese curds so the Poutine is always authentic. Sauces are made from scratch including the Korean which is the most popular sauce on Korean fries and Korean fried chicken.
The menu caters for different dietary requirements with a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Local real ales, interesting wines and a shelf full of gins…
The Railway serves an extensive selection of drinks. They are the only pub in the area to offer changing craft and cask beers – a fact that has been recognised by the Good Beer Guide (The Railway is the only pub in the area to get that accolade). The cocktail menu changes regularly to reflect the different demands at different times of the year. Cocktails are made from using small batch ingredients and the garden is a very popular destination for summer drinking. The Railway also stocks small batch quality spirits from mainly local artisan producers and the wine list has also chosen with this ethos.
To complement the Mexican dishes customers can enjoy margaritas as well as agave cocktails.
